Created For Care 2012

I know it's a little late, but that's just how I roll lately!  In late January, I had the wonderful opportunity to attend another amazing weekend at Lake Lanier in Atlanta,GA with 435 other Adoptive Mommas. It is so good for my heart to be with so many women who are all passionate for the same things! And to finally be able to meet so many women who have become dear friends over the past two years! Here are a few pics from the weekend....

What a treat it was that Jen Cooper was at the retreat! I am a regular

"blog stalker" of hers! She is such a sweet girl... go check out her 

blog, what an inspiration she has been to me! 

And meeting my dear friend,Meg for the first time was so much fun! 

I really think we were seperated at birth, we are so much alike!  please

excuse how pale and disgusting I look, I had been in the car for 7 hours! (:

What a joy it was to meet Wes Paulas Johnson, my friend Kristi's son. This little boy is truly

a miracle!! He was in Ethiopia during our last retreat and

God has done such a miraculous transformation in his 

precious little life over the past year! You can read his

Created For Care is just an incredible time for all of us on this journey of adoption to come together and support and love each other! Adoption is wonderful in so many different ways, one of them being the way it brings women with kindred spirits together to lean on each other in the hard times and rejoice with each other in the good times! Although we still have a ways to go on this journey to our daughter, and although adoption is certainly not easy, I can't imagine having not experienced all that I have experienced so far... and the best is yet to come!
