Memorial Day.

We celebrated Grandaddy Jimmy's 87th Birthday this past weekend at the beach as well as Memorial Day. Being together with my cousins and their kids is always so much fun.  Also getting to smooch on my new neice ,who I have nicknamed Evie Bird, was alot of fun as well! My Grandparents' beach cottage on the Outer Banks of NC holds so many childhood memories for me. We spent many a summer there with all of my cousins playing on the beach. Seeing our kids playing together on this same beach brought me so much joy! Here are just a few images from our awesome beach weekend.

As May comes to an end today, I need to do a little May Recap for our family scrapbook (that I plan to print out one day...) 

1. Today marks Fisher's last day of PreK. He will be attending another year of PreK next year as he is not quite old enough for kindergarten. Pics to come later of today's end of the year party at the river.

2. Fisher and Jack began baseball this year and they both are crazy about it. They get Daddy to go out in the yard every night to practice. And we literally have to count down the days each week til there next game. 

3.  This month we are at  #86 on the waitlist for our baby girl.  The past few months have been slower than any I have ever seen before regarding referrals with our agency.  Praying that we get an email today that shows at least a little movement for this month. 

4.  Jaden is busy playing on two baseball teams and finishing up his sixth grade year! In only a few days, I will be the mother of a seventh grader! He is growing into such a handsome and mature young man. We are so proud of him!

5.  We are on the countdown now for the summer to officially kick off with the last day of school quickly approaching.... 4.5 more days! We have many fun things planned for the summer and we just can't wait!
