Life around the Bobbitt household has been running full speed for the past couple of month, hence my first blog post in two months. On the adoption front, things have been pretty slow. We only moved one spot on the waitlist last month. This is mostly due to the fact that every year in Ethiopia the courts close for what is called "The Rainy Season." The Court employees are given the month of August and September off due to poor road conditions this time of year from all the rain Ethiopia receives these months.
We are praying for MUCH movement in the coming months as we move into year 2 of this amazing journey.
The boys are all playing soccer this fall and loving it! I have to admit I am loving it too! Fall is my most favorite season and I love when soccer rolls around again each year! Fisher is loving being on the Skittles again this year! His coach just happens to be my very soon to be brother in law, Josh. He and my sister get married one week from today!
Jaden is playing his first school sport this year! He is on the Middle School Soccer team. Jack is playing Rec Soccer.
We love our Cousins!
The absolutely gorgeous baby above would be my precious niece, Evelyn... or "Evie" as
we call her! Isn't she just totally smoochable! This picture was taken at Fisher's Fifth
Birthday party at the Downtown Waterfront Park.
Fisher celebrated his Fifth Birthday in September with a Spider Man
themed Birthday Bash! Right now he is crazy over Super Heroes!
I have no words for my silly thirteen year old son in the below picture! He also celebrated his birthday
in September with a Camp Out Sleepover with a few of his best friends... he is such a nut! (:
Congratulations to my little Sis on her upcoming wedding this month!
In October I threw my sister a pottery making Bridal Shower!
It was alot of fun! We had a crowd of girls and all the pottery went to Lynse for her new home!
This is a pic of my Mom with "All Her Girls".
Some Fall Fishing with Daddy.
Just realized I did not have a picture of my sweet Jack-Jack in this blog post. He is not
too keen on taking pictures but I did find this recent one of him getting into the
toy box with a big smile on his cute face! Didn't want to leave my precious
middle son out. (: It won't be long before we are celebrating a birthday
with him!
The past several months have just rolled on by with all the wedding festivities for my sister, Lynse, soccer games just about every night for the boys, birthday parties, etc. It has been alot of fun. We are now looking forward to the upcoming holidays of Thanksgiving and Christmas! The boys already have their lists posted on our bulletin board, lots of cutouts from the Toys R Us Catalogue. More pics to come real soon!
