We will miss our Gonzo!

Fisher has been constantly asking me lately, "Mommy, when is Easter?" So I decided to get crafty a few days ago and made some "count down 'til Easter" crosses. So... only two days left until HE IS RISEN! We enjoyed a wonderful Easter musical at church tonight, it was the much needed uplifting we needed after the afternoon we had yesterday. Yesterday afternoon around 4 p.m we lost our sweet Gonzo, our four year old Jack Russell Terrier that was a birthday gift to Jack in December for his seventh birhday. I never imagined losing him would break my heart the way that it has. He was a perfect fit for our family and we considered him part of the family these past four months that God gave us to love him. His death has caused many questions from the boys regarding death, heaven, etc. So hard to answer these tough questions in a way that children might could understand. This post is dedicated to our sweet Gonzo... you brought so much joy into our home during your brief time in our family, you will be truly missed!
