One Organ less!

That's right.. I am officially one organ less! Confused? Well, let me explain! I had my gallbladder removed this past Tuesday through a laproscopic procedure! Many told me, "Peace of Cake!"... well, I am not sure what flavor of cake they were referring to, but "peace of cake" has not once come to my mind since being wheeled through those double doors of the O.R! (: To be quite honest, it has been rough! But how blessed I am to live in a country where these things can be fixed so easily! Just amazing! Warning: the following info may be TMI for some!  The entire procedure was done right through my belly button! Amazing!! I will not even have a noticeable scar, just alot of bruising right now and very sore! I am so blessed to have an amazing husband and mother who have been my caregivers all week! My husband has taken on the role of Mr. Mom and my wonderful mother has kept the kids over night most of the week! Me, being a total type A personality, has had to "give up control" so to speak when it comes to getting the kids here and there, and making sure the house stays tidy.

Believe it or not, we had a showing of our house the night after my surgery!!! I am not complaining, any showing of our house is much welcomed, but my sweet husband spend the night of my surgery, while I was passed out on the couch, steam cleaning all of our carpets! Three busy boys=dirty carpet.  We have been blessed with food provided each night by our Life Group at church and visits and phone calls from loved ones wanting to offer their help. My next door neighbor even came over yesterday and helped me fold laundry! (:

So this post WILL NOT contain pictures, I wouldn't want to scare y'all from ever reading our blog again by posting what I have looked like all week.. not pretty I'm telling ya! Hoping and praying to be back to my Busy Bee self in the next few days! Even thinking of getting out of the house tomorrow to go see The Help.. I have been waiting all summer!!! Happy Weekend, y'all!!
