Santa stopped by... and Daddy caught the bug!!

Look who stopped by our dear friends Chris and Crissy's house tonight! None other than the Jolly Old Man himself!!! Fisher was a little less than thrilled, when during the reading of The Night Before Christmas, we heard footsteps on the back deck and there he was!! Fisher immediately ran and hid in the bedroom! After handing out presents to all the kids (Fisher had Mommy get his gift for him!), the kids took on a silly game of Twister! Tonight was supposed to be our Annual Birthday Party for Jesus and Cookie Exchange but Daddy came down with the dreaded Stomache Bug, so the party had to be rescheduled! Didn't want to share germs with all the sweet kiddies! But we have rescheduled for this coming week, so I will post some pics of all the cute kids over to exchange cookies and to sing Happy Birthday to Jesus! This year makes our tenth Cookie Exchange, could not miss this fun tradition! If you can't tell, I LOVE to throw parties and I LOVE yearly traditions! Such fun memories for the kids to carry with them as they grow up! Looking forward to a Saturday with really no plans... SO needed right now with all the busyness we have had lately! My December calendar on the kitchen counter is so full of "things to do" you can hardly read it!!! It will be nice to have a day to just relax!!! Hope y'all find some time in your busyness to relax and enjoy time with family and friends this weekend!
