Christmas 2010! (Part 1)

Jack is so excited to be about to open presents at Dat Dat's!
What a busy and fun month December was! That is why it has taken me over a week to post Christmas pictures!! We have been busy, busy, busy!!! I took alot of pictures as always this Christmas, so I have chosen just a few of my favorites to share! Just a warning... this post is going to be long with alot of pictures! Had a hard time choosing my favorites!! We started out the Christmas week by going to Henderson to visit Dat-Dat, Bet, and Mema Bobbitt! The boys love going to Henderson, especially the oldest and Daddy, because that means more deer hunting for them!
My sweet sister in law Becca and new baby cousin, Addie Claire!
Jack and his Uncle Jordan, just home from serving our
country in Hawaii!
Fisher and Tucker at their Daycare Polar Express
Pajama Day Party!!
On the Tuesday night before Christmas, we had our Annual Birthday Party for Jesus and Cookie Exchange!

The kids made popsicle stick manger scene ornaments thanks to my friend Andrea at www.babeofmyheart.com! She always has such creative ideas.... Thanks Andrea!!

The kids always have fun singing Happy Birthday to Jesus! Usually I have a birthday cake, but this year
since we had a smaller crowd than usual, I just opted for a Little Debbie Christmas Tree cake... with a candle
on top of course!! (:
All the kiddos gathered around Jesus' "Birthday Cake"!!

Over the years, I have collected pictures of the kids each Christmas sitting on Santa's lap. These are one of my favorite things to pull out of the attic each year to display during the Christmas season! So much fun to look back at home much the kids have grown each year! So many fun memories captured
in each sweet picture! Especially the one where Jack is three and screaming!
LOVE pulling out these pictures every year! Cannot wait til
"baby sister's" picture with Santa is on display!

Jack got to attend 4H winter camp during Christmas break this year. This was an all day camp at the 4H
center where they made Christmas crafts and cooked Christmas food all day! He loved it... and
Mommy and Daddy loved the scarves he made for the whole family! Each of us got our own
scarf made by our sweet Jack Jack!
Mommy and Daddy in our new scarves...Jack is the photographer!
We then headed to Manteo on the 23rd as is always our Christmas tradition, to visit GG, Buddy, Orry,
and Uncle Jordan! And this year, GG and Buddy's newest addition, their new puppy, Piper! However I
forgot my camera and have no pictures to share of the fun time we had in Manteo! *Send me some pics, Uncle Jordan! (:    Mommy and Daddy
were excited to recieve a bookcase for Fisher's room, which will one day be "baby sister's"room, made
by Buddy! The boys always love to go to GG and Buddy's to hunt squirrels and birds in the woods behind
their house!

On the 24th, Christmas Eve, our tradition is to leave Manteo and head back to Edenton for Christmas Eve
Dinner at T and Papa's (my parents). We had a blast as always this year! Mommy and Daddy were thrilled beyond words to recieve a sweet gift for "baby sister"! Mommy even recieved the Africa necklace I have been wanting along with the beautiful embroidered baby sling that I have been eyeing for a long time in
one of my favorite shops in town! I had shared with my Mom that I had dreamed that I was carrying
"baby sister" in this sling when we went to meet her in Ethiopia! How exciting to open up the package and
see that very sling as a gift from my Mom and Dad!  Uncle Lee even dressed up as a sheperd and came out
into the living room to read the Christmas story from the Bible to the little ones! They were amazed and listened so attentively to his words! A night we will always remember!
The "Sheperd" came to visit and to read the story of Jesus' birth
to the boys!
My crazy youngest brother, Luke, even brought gifts this year... wrapped in the
front pages of the "Slammer" no less! This boy is hysterical! I just love both of my sweet
brothers so much! Each so different but so special in their own unique way!
Christmas gift wrapped "Luke style"! My brother is such a nut!
Jaden and T love to goof off, and here is Jaden showing T that he can pick her up! Love my crazy
Nutty family!

Fisher had told T ,when asked what he wanted for Christmas, that he just wanted a Catcher's Mask, like
the one he had seen in his "No, David" book! He is a big David fan! So of course, Fisher and Tucker got
matching Catcher's masks from my parents! Too funny!

Mommy was a catcher for a very short time as a child while playing softball! Me in my catcher's
position has always been a longstanding joke in our family! If you don't already know, I have NO athletic
ability! Thank the Lord Justis is an athlete or there would be no hope for our boys! Everyone just about died laughing when they looked over and saw this....
Reliving my time as catcher!
Thanks Mom and Dad for the HUGE hairy dogs that
shed!!! HA, HA!

Above picture (A very special gift from T and Papa!!!)
The baby sling from my dream! Inside is the Congratulations
card from my parents! We just had to "pretend' with the sling! (:
Jaden recieves his 12 Point deer he harvested
this fall! His third deer on the wall! We may have
to build an addition onto our house for all these
deer!
Matching coats from me to my sweet sister and sister
in law!

Christmas 2010... to be continued!!!!
